Sausage Pinwheels


Ingredients:


2 packs crescent dough

1 lb breakfast sausage

1 block cream cheese (softened)

1 cup shredded cheddar


Directions:


1) Cook sausage, set on paper towel to drain.

2) Mix together sausage, cream cheese, and about 3/4 c of shredded cheese.

3) Lay out crescent sheet on a piece of parchment paper (for easy clean up) and spread half the sausage mix in an even layer over the dough.

4) Add the rest of shredded cheese over the top.

5) Repeat on second crescent sheet with the other half of the mixture.

6) Roll gently (like you're rolling cinnamon rolls) into a log.

7) Slice pinwheels.

8) Lay out on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.

These could be personalized in lots of ways! Adding gravy, different types of cheese, anything you like!
