Tres Leches Cake


For cake:

White cake mix

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup water

3 large eggs

1/2 cup oil

2 tsp vanilla extract

For three milks mixture:

1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)

1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)

1 cup heavy whipping cream

For whipped topping:

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/3 cup powdered sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract



1) In a large bowl, mix cake ingredients on low speed for 1 minute, then medium for 2 minutes. Until the batter is mostly smooth.

2) Pour batter into a greased baking dish, bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Or until a toothpick comes out clean.

3) Allow cake to cool about 30 minutes, then poke holes with the end of a wooden spoon, skewer, or anything you have with a small and circular end.

Milk Mixture-

1) In a medium bowl, combine 3 milks. Mix well.

2) Pour mixture over the entire cake, making sure it gets into the holes.

3) Cover and stick in the fridge to cool.

Whipped Topping-

1) While cake is in the refrigerator, use a mixer to make whipped topping.

2) Combine cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla in mixing bowl and beat on medium speed until stiff peaks form. (Be careful not to over beat.)

3) Cover cake with yummy whipped topping.

4) Serve & Enjoy!!
